I absolutely love mentoring and training, it is a passion of mine. I have supervised candidates in 2 different states over a period of 30 years. I approach supervision from a strong system’s view and start with what you determine you need. I am direct and will give you honest and clear feedback. As Brené Brown says “clear is kind”. As a supervisor, I meet clinicians where they are and help them navigate growing toward the clinician they aspire to be. After working in the field of mental health crisis for 7 years, it’s hard for me to be surprised or shocked at any case presentation and we can navigate best client care together. I strive to create a setting where new clinicians can find comfort in exploring difficult cases, learning new skills, and being vulnerable in our humanness.
